Playing games at Cathedral Island in Poznan!

Playing games at cathedral island in PoznanCathedral Island or Ostrow Tumski as it is called in Polish can be found in both Poznan and Wroclaw. Like the name suggests it used to be an island and there are lots of old buildings to visit and to just stroll around. We ended up strolling and playing and going for a scavenger hunt while visiting. I had the time of my life but Mini gave up on the game within a couple of minutes.

Don’t get fooled because you are a tourist

Don't get fooledWe call it skin tax, a funny way of explaining why tourist often ends up paying a lot more than the locals. And even if most people are nice and helpful, you always need to make sure that you don’t get overcharged. We had such an incident at Pizza Hut (of all places) and I want to share that story with you guys. Not because it was fantastic but because I think that it is important to know that you might get cheated while traveling.

The St. Martin Croissants are super unique and special. In fact, they are so special that they are protected. Yes, they are legally protected – not only in Poland but in all of the EU.
